19th May X Catechsim

Good Morning & Welcome !!! - the last week of class, before the summer break !!!!

😂😂😂

Do NOT mark your attendance this morning, by making a comment on this blogpost!

Your attendance is going to be marked in a new way!

During the last week, at the catechism class and in other classes you
  • filled in agreement form for participation in e-learning at school
  • created your official (school) email address.
If you haven't done either of these - kindly do so immediately
  • for the e-learning agreement form - check the link given by your class - or you can copy the link here in a new page and answer it - it will only take you a couple of minutes - but kindly read through it well and mean what you say YES to - we need to have a common set of behaviours. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScrKS9B9EiuR7MCiLfeT4puVmH0eR3UsQCeqL3DtR9cmq24Vg/viewform?usp=pp_url
  • to create your school email ID - follow the steps here :
  • 1. Go to Gmail www.gmail.com
  •  2. Follow the steps for using a new Email id
          Note : -   registration no@stcolumbas.edu.in
Example: - If your Registration Number/Admission No of the student is 26408. then your email id will be ;-26408@stcolumbas.edu.in (always type full email id in gmail while accessing the email account)

    3. Now enter the PASSWORD
Note : - Password is the Date of Birth of the student and can enter in the given format only:-
Example 1 :- If your Date of Birth is 3rd January 2008, then your password as follows: - 3-Jan-08
Example 2 :- If your Date of Birth is 10th of May 2011, then your password will be as follows: - 10-May-11

    4. After entering the Password,  now you are in your Email Account. As soon as you enter in your email account it will give you an Agreement page,
Accept it, now it is ready for work.
If and when you have created your school email ID - go an enter into the account of that email ID - you will have received an invitation enter into your catechism class
  • for instance, if you're in class X E, you will find a link (class code) - a few letters of the alphabet and numbers - follow these steps :
    • on your school ID G-mail page - click the 9 dots to the right top corner of your screen
    • then click on google classroom
    • on the home page it will ask if you are a teacher or student - click on students
    • go to the right-hand corner you'll find a + sign - click on it
    • it will ask you for the class code- enter your class code on that and you will enter into the class.
    • When you enter into the class - go to the classwork - read and reflect on it and then post a comment - e.g. Good Morning Brother, ______  Roll No ____ present!
  • If you haven't got the invitation - it means that I do not have your admission/registration number - you need to come back to this blog post and give me your admission/registration number!
That's your attendance for today!

Now, as this is all new - if you face any difficulty - please copy this link and open it on a new tab on your google/chrome etc. and you'll have the work for the day !

I'm sorry that I have an online meeting to attend from 10.30am - and it's supposed to continue till 2.30pm !!! I shan't be able to interact with you during the class - but I will check on your comments  in the evening - sorry !

All the best ! Thank you !!!!!
